A Gift For You...
A man lay on his bed at the end of his life waiting to die.
His dream came to pay his last respects
and bid farewell to the man who had never used it.
As it entered the room the man looked down in shame.
"Why did you not realize me ?" the dream asked.
"Because I was afraid," the man said.
"Afraid of what," said the dream.
"I was afraid I would fail."

The dream was softer now, because it knew that there were two types of pain,
the pain of discipline and the pain of regret,
and while discipline weighs ounces, regret weighs pounds.

for the only thing that ever separated us
was the belief in your mind that you couldn't have me".
I ask people what they would be happy with as an "acceptable" return on their retirement savings or generally their savings year over year. Do you know what most people say?
Answer, "8% per year."
Have you ever thought that maybe the financial industry (represented by your financial rep or advisor, it's not their fault), owned by VERY wealthy bankers and financial people, have conditioned YOU to believe that 8% is acceptable, because the reality is, they're getting you 8% returns (if you are actually getting that these days) and taking YOUR money and earning 25%, 50%, 100% or more every year, while you scrape by with marginal returns.
The wealthy bankers set up the system that you live in today and control the media and institutions that exist today, so doesn't it make sense that they can get you to believe whatever they want?
